New La zenia Boulevard Commercial Shopping Centre
The Mayor of Orihuela, Monica Lorente, and the Director of Immochan Spain, Valentin Serrano,visited the commercial development site of the new La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Mall (Orihuela Costa), which will open its doors in November 2012 and will create 1,800 direct jobs and approximately 3,000 indirect jobs.
The development of this modern centre has lead to an investment of more than 185 million euros and is a future bet on Valencia province showing and a real commitment to job creation. The shopping centre will host 150 shops and have 5000 parking spaces (half of them underground). The mall will have excellent visibility from the motorway AP-7.
Of the 180,000 m2 to be built, 80,000 m2 will SBA (gross lettable area) and host local, national and international companies, such as Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Norauto, Worten, Primark, Zara Inditex Group and the rest of their comapnies( Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Oysho, Bershka, Zara Home), C&A, many others…
Immochan commercial real estate is a company of the Auchan Group and is currently operating in 11 countries with 312 department stores and nearly 2 million square metres of commercial space (excluding the supermarkets).
The Mayoress of Orihuela has expressed joy at seeing this project , stating "this is an opportunity for our town, this is a project that will employ our citizens, which is a priority for us, and a project that will accommodate local businesses and traders so they can look to the future with positivity. "

in this econmic climate wonderful news to have so many current jobs employed on this project and jobs to be created in the near future. A great

As a regular visitor to la zenia I am looking extremely forward to the grand opening of the shopping centre. Hopefully there will be a guess shop in the new centre
